Yoon Kwon
Yoon Kwon began her professional career as a thirteen-year-old and was the youngest winner in the history of the New Jersey Symphony Young Artists Auditions, joining the roster of IMG Artists alongside such artists as Itzhak Perlman and Joshua Bell.
She made her New York debut at age 17 at Avery Fisher Hall, performing the Stravinsky Violin Concerto, and became the first Korean artist to record for the RCA/BMG Red Seal Label.
She has been a soloist with major orchestras such as the Cologne and Warsaw Philharmonics, and the California, Cincinnati, Colorado, El Paso, Houston, Honolulu, New Jersey, New Mexico, St. Louis, Wichita, and Vancouver Symphonies.
Cellist Susannah Chapman is well-established as a chamber musician, soloist, contemporary music interpreter, and performer in leading cham-ber orchestras. The principal cellist of the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, she is a former member of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and currently performs regularly with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.
Ms. Chapman performs with the Bang-on-a-Can All-Stars, the cello quartet "Cello", and is a member of Cygnus, a contemporary music sex-tet with its own series at Merkin Hall, and residencies at both Sarah Lawrence College and City University of New York.
Ms. Chapman is a founding member of the string trio Trigon and spent several summers at the Marlboro Music Festival. She holds a Doctorate of Music from SUNY Stony Brook, and is the cello instructor at Sarah Lawrence College.
