Anthony Newman has been at the forefront of keyboard music in the united States for more than 35 years, and is best known as an organist and harpsichordist, especially for his interpretations of Bach.  

He has performed throughout the world, with more than 70 solo performances at Lincoln Center alone, and has collaborated with many other great artists including Kathleen Battle, Itzhak Perlman, Jean Pierre Rampal, James Levine, Lorin Mazel, and Leonard Bernstein. Dr. Newman is also a prolific composer whose works have been heard in New York, Paris, Vienna, Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw, Singapore, Barce-lona, and London. Born in Los Angeles. 

Dr. Newman studied in Paris with Alfred Cortot and Pierre Cochereau, organist of Notre Dame Cathe-dral. In 1969 he became the youngest full-time faculty member at the Juilliard School, and later headed the graduate music program the Pur-chase College of the State University of New York. Dr. Newman is also the Music Director of Bach Works in New York City and at St. Matthew’s Church in Bedford, where he also serves as organist.

Since his début at Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival at the age of nineteen, ChoLiang Lin has appeared with virtually every major orchestra in the world,

 "Musical America" named him its "Instrumentalist of the Year" in 2000. He founded the Taipei International Music Festival in 1997, the largest classical music festival in the history of Taiwan, performing to an indoor audience of over 53,000.
